When working with lithium-ion (lithium-ion), LiPo (lithium-ion polymer) batteries and any rechargeable battery, be careful and use them with care, as they are very sensitive to charging characteristics and can explode or burn if mishandled. Make sure you have a good understanding of all rechargeable batteries before using them. Always charge batteries on a clean, fireproof surface. If you see visible damage to the batteries, do not use them.
Always store, store and transport rechargeable batteries in a safe, non-conductive container in a controlled environment.
